RUSA article award goes to Libraries quartet

Mia Partlow, Robin Davis, Dawn Pearce, and Silvia Sheffield have been chosen for the 2023 RUSA STARS Publication Recognition Award. The award is given to a publication incorporating user experience, information sharing, and student wellness goals into standard library communications. The RUSA release particularly noted the authors’ attention to student wellness.

Their article “Snippets, subject lines, and exclamation points: A case study in constructing better library emails,” about analyzing and improving libraries’ automated circulation and ILL notices to users, was originally published in Weave: Journal of Library User Experience.
